Peter Pan

A bold, adventurous, and spirited character who loves freedom and fun! Peter’s confidence and quick thinking make him a natural leader, but he’s also very stubborn and insists on staying young forever. Peter’s rivalry with Captain Hook and his close bond with Wendy and the Lost Boys are key to his character. We are looking for a lively and agile actor who can sing with energy and capture Peter’s playful and protective sides. This is a solo singing role.

Wendy Darling

Wendy is nurturing, imaginative, and brave, with a strong sense of responsibility. She dreams of adventure but also cares deeply for her brothers and the Lost Boys, stepping  naturally into the role of their “mother.” Wendy’s friendship with Peter introduces her to a magical world which challenges her desire to return home. We are looking for an actor who can sing sweetly and bring warmth, curiosity, and a sense of wonder to the role. This is a solo singing role.

 

John Darling

The practical and curious middle Darling child, John is brave and looks up to Peter as a role model. He tries to be a hero just like Peter, and he’s always looking for an adventure. We are looking for an actor who can sing, show John’s adventurous spirit, and play the role with charm and bravery. This is a solo singing role.

 

Michael Darling

Michael is the youngest of the Darling children, innocent and excited about exploring Peter’s world. He’s full of wonder and looks to his siblings and Peter for guidance. We are looking for an actor who can capture Michael’s eagerness, innocence, and love of fun. This is a solo singing role.

Captain Hook

The mischievous, dramatic, and sometimes comical villain of the story. Hook is elegant but full of sneaky plans to capture Peter Pan and the Lost Boys. His cleverness and need for revenge make him a memorable, larger-than-life character. We are looking for an actor with a strong singing voice, great comedic timing, and a knack for playing both scary and silly. This is a solo singing role.

 

Smee

Smee is Captain Hook’s cheerful, loyal, and bumbling sidekick. He has a good heart and adds humor to the pirates’ scenes with his clumsy but lovable personality. Smee enjoys helping out but isn’t as serious as the other pirates. We are looking for an actor with great comedic timing who can add a lot of fun to the scenes. This is a solo singing role.

 

Tiger Lily

Proud, brave, and confident, Tiger Lily is a loyal friend to Peter, the daughter of the Neverland tribe's chief. and leader of The Braves. Her courage shines through in all her scenes, especially when facing the pirates. We are looking for an actor who can show Tiger Lily’s fierce bravery, strength, and confidence. This role also includes featured dance. This is a solo singing role.

Tinker Bell

Tinker Bell is a feisty, loyal, and very protective fairy with a big personality, despite her small size. She’s playful but easily jealous, especially of Wendy. Tink does not speak or sing, so we are looking for a performer who can use movement to show her fairy-like qualities and can express big emotions without speaking. Tinker Bell does not speak or sing, but plays a major role within the show.

Peter’s Shadow

Peter’s Shadow is a mischievous and whimsical character who sometimes looses their way (and looses their connection to Peter), while often pursuing their own adventures. We’re looking for an actor with strong physicality, quick reflexes, and comedic timing, using movement to express emotions and interactions with Peter. Acrobatic and dance skills are preferred for this role. Peter’s Shadow does not speak or sing, so must be able to express emotion and action through physicality and dance.

 

Mr. Darling

A bit dramatic and often preoccupied, Mr. Darling cares about his family but can be easily frustrated. His seriousness and desire for order make him a funny contrast to the magical and carefree world of Peter Pan. We are looking for an actor who can play both stern and a little silly, especially in his interactions with the children. This is a solo singing role.

 

Mrs. Darling

A loving and gentle mother, Mrs. Darling always tries to keep her family safe and happy. She cares deeply for her children, bringing warmth and kindness to every scene she’s in. We are looking for an actor who can convey a calm, caring presence and show her deep love for her family. This is a solo singing role.

​Liza

The kind-hearted and practical housekeeper of the Darling family. Liza adopts one of the Lost Boys in a touching moment towards the end of the show. We are looking for an actor who can convey warmth and humor in this role. This is a speaking role with no solo singing required.

​​

Nana

The Darling children’s loyal nurse, who happens to be a dog. Nana is playful, caring, and protective, often appearing in comical moments. We are looking for an actor with good physicality to mimic dog movements and convey Nana's deep bond with the Darling children. Nana does not speak or sing, but provides comic and heartwarming moments through physical movement.

Featured Lost Boys

(Tootles, Slightly, Nibs, Curly, and the Twins)

Each Lost Boy brings unique charm to the group. They all look up to Peter as a leader and love having Wendy as their “mother.” We are looking for a group of actors with strong voices who can bring playfulness and lots of energy to these roles. All Featured Lost Boys are solo singing roles.

 

Tootles

Tootles is brave and sensitive, often choosing to miss out on adventures. He is humble and a bit introspective. He looks up to Peter and wants to be heroic but sometimes doubts himself. We are looking for an actor who can show Tootles’s mix of courage and gentleness.

 

Slightly

Slightly is imaginative, proud, and confident, often claiming to remember things from life before Neverland, which none of the other Lost Boys do. He enjoys standing out and sometimes tries to act more knowledgeable than he actually is. We are looking for an actor who can bring Slightly’s playful arrogance and sense of curiosity to the role.

 

Nibs

Cheerful and lively, Nibs has a positive attitude and an unbreakable spirit. He finds joy in everything and is always ready to jump into any adventure with a smile. We are looking for an actor with strong physical energy who can bring optimism and a bright personality to the character.

 

Curly

Mischievous and playful, Curly always means well but often end up in trouble. He tends to blame himself when things go wrong, but he quickly bounces back. We are looking for an actor who can portray Curly’s playful innocence and resilience, adding humor to the group.

 

The Twins

The Twins are inseparable and work as a team, often finishing each other’s sentences or mirroring each other’s movements. They are loyal to Peter and their Lost Boy family, providing a unique dynamic in the group. We are looking for two actors who can perform with great synchronicity and have a strong bond on stage.

 

Featured Pirates

(Cecco, Bill Jukes, Cookson, Noodler, Skylights, and Gentleman Starkey)

These fearsome yet humorous crew members follow Captain Hook and bring a mix of mischief and menace to Neverland. Each pirate has their own unique quirks. We are looking for actors with strong comedic timing, good physicality for playful fights, and the ability to work as a team to support Hook’s schemes. All featured pirates are solo singing roles.

 

Cecco

Cecco is tough, bold, and always ready for a fight. He is one of the more intimidating and scary pirates, proud of his strength and loyal to Captain Hook. We are looking for an actor who can portray Cecco’s bravery and toughness with strong physicality.

 

Bill Jukes

Bill Jukes is the roughest of the pirates. He is tough and a little unpredictable. He takes pride in his pirate look and enjoys showing off. We are looking for an actor who can bring a gruff, bold presence to Bill Jukes, adding to the pirate crew’s menace. 

 

Cookson

Cookson is the ship’s cook and a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to food and provisions. He’s grumpy, especially when things don’t go his way, but also brings a unique sense of humor to the crew. We are looking for an actor who can bring out Cookson’s cranky yet comical personality.

 

Noodler

Noodler is a pirate with hands that are fixed backward, giving him an unusual appearance. He is quirky, a bit goofy, and not as fierce as the other pirates. We are looking for an actor with good physical comedy skills to show Noodler’s awkwardness and unique movements.

 

Skylights

Skylights is a pirate who is always slightly nervous and tends to worry about things. Despite being part of Hook’s crew, he lacks the full confidence of the others and is often more cautious. We are looking for an actor who can bring out Skylights’s jumpy personality, adding a humorous edge to the pirate crew.

 

Gentleman Starkey

Gentleman Starkey is surprisingly polite and refined, standing out among the rougher pirates. He speaks with a courteous manner but is still loyal to Captain Hook and enjoys being a pirate. We are looking for an actor who can play the humor of a “gentleman” pirate with charm and a slight comic touch.

 

Featured Mermaids

Mysterious and a bit malicious, the mermaids spend their days at the lagoon, combing their hair and playing tricks. Though beautiful, they are also cunning and can be unkind. We are looking for actors who can use graceful movement to capture the magical quality of these characters and bring an enchanting presence to the scenes. The Mermaids are solos singing roles.

Great Big Little Panther and The Braves

These warriors are allies of Tiger Lily and her tribe and are symbols of strength and loyalty in Neverland. The braves perform ritual dances exploring tribal pride and culture. We are looking for ensemble actors with strong movement skills and the ability to create a cohesive group presence. These are speaking roles with no solo singing required.​
